This is exactly what I thought when I saw all the negative reviews of this book - blatantly focused on her husband's actions and not her own:

"If before I had been a shortcut to get to John, I was now a punching bag and scapegoat for those who disagreed with his decisions... Anyone unhappy with John felt entitled to shift blame onto me, as if I was somehow responsible for steering his career."

This book is excellent. And she references other excellent books. It's very inspiring.

She makes frequent references to The Little Prince - so I'm planning to read that again soon.

I thought this was going to be super fluffy but it isn't. She's referenced 2 of my favorite books: Caste, by Isabella Wilkerson, and My Grandmother's hands, by Resmaa Menaken.
