Stevens is really really confusing…imagine just poem after poem that you don’t understand unless you take out a pen and start deciphering. It’s occasionally really interesting, and produces some fascinating ideas (and there are some banger lines, and beautiful ones too) but LORD is it exhausting!

One must really pace themselves with this…Stevens is a marathon.
