I love the mix of having an omniscient narrator and reliving the events through Oliver’s eyes as they are unfolding!

Why does Oliver almost purposefully keep putting his foot in his mouth at every opportunity?!

“I’m sorry,” I said again, wishing I had never spoken, wishing I’d had the sense to sit there with her and marvel at the fact that she wanted to sit there with me, and not ask why. It should have been so easy, but nothing between us ever would be. If this was what we wanted, we’d played foully for it.

This is beautiful. Blurring where Shakespeare ends and M.L. Rio begins! Incredibly believable characters, engaging plot, and an intriguing atmosphere!! Can’t wait to see where it goes.

Also, the dynamic between Oliver and Meredith is overwhelmingly consuming at this point.

Not much to quote yet that isn’t directly Shakespeare, but really excited to see what this turns into!!
