Entertaining, but nothing particularly ground breaking.
I didn't get a good sense of the world, and the romance felt disjointed...I personally picked up more on them being platonic soulmates more than romantic ones. Also, feels like the last 5 pages are when the author tries to show the feelings are reciprocated and that Hengwen has this deep enduring romantic love for him.
