I like this a lot but some characters have a case of the stupids and the three year time jump doesn't make a ton of sense. "Hey, there's a vampire. Never mind."

As a woman I was so furious with this book that I DNFed it. I couldn't even wait to see if all the sexism and gaslighting took it to some place worthwhile
