I'm really glad the "Puta Feminista" made me really pick up this book again and commit to reading it... and to read about the importance of community for companionship and safety being as true today as in the 18th century

We're back with Sam and I don't care even a little bit... and this is why I kept putting the book aside... I'm gonna try and power through, because if I do that I think I can finish before the ending of the year!!!

The book is now finally focusing on what I wanted... now we're seeing how Charlotte run her own House!! And how you grew in this way of life!!

I really wanted Puta Feminista to push me into picking up this book again, and I'm trying... but like I don't get why we spend so little time with the women, the actual Convent Garden Ladies, and so much time with man like Sam Derrick - I do not care!!!

I was waiting for a book order today, so I took this book outside today, and read a bit more, and finally got to the women's chapter and it was excellent!!! But like the man chapters bore me!!!

I really adore when authors add introductions to books, years after it was written/published, reflecting on what they would do differently - it's so interesting to the writing process!!!
