Pretty good so far. Wolf Larsen reminds me of Judge Holden as I had heard comparison of before I started this book. (I know Larsen came first)
Both men holding a very nihilistic view of life. They differ as The Judge’s philosophy shows war and tyranny as a purpose and a “God”, holding no regard for anyone. Wolf Larsen seems to have the understanding that life is the cheapest currency and a means to an end.

Really love the character development so far, especially in chapter 8. Not just from our protagonist, but our antagonist(?), Wolf Larsen. Both characters developing because of opposing world views with similar interests. Isolated aboard the “Ghost” as the only men who are well-read individuals.
