libation bearers done!! electra and orestes are cute but i really don't understand where the author stands on the subject. if he is even meant to stand anywhere? the chorus says that women bad etc etc and i surmise this is the author's view but also i get very different vibes from clytemnestra's words and actions, and the way the murder is framed. am i just overanalyzing with my modern sensibilities?
