Maybe I need to get physical copies and reread the last two books because I feel like the Jezal thing was kind of an asspull. Like Bayaz had been plotting to put him on the throne since book 1 but nothing about him being a king's bastard.

Then again I wonder if he actually is the king's bastard. It'd be ultimately more funny if Bayaz stole a random baby and made up the whole story

My prediction is that the Union is going to agree to the Northmen's plan, then the Ghurkul will attack, the Union will pull out and leave the Northmen to get slaughtered by Bethod
