I feel like the author completely forgot who he was writing about halfway through. These are completely different people with different personalities. I have no emotional connection here with any of them, especially because nothing seems to be getting properly resolved, at least from what I’ve seen. I would prefer an argument or something over this. No development. Only plot. Yay for Santa I guess.
