Taylor is 30% done
i read a few sherlock stories in college as part of an English course, but this time i listened to an audiobook - not going to lie, have been kind of confused because the voices don’t change for any characters but oh well. “I had neither kiss nor kin in London” is such a fascinating way to establish setting in a book.

Taylor “RACHE is German for revenge, so don’t lose your time looking for Miss Rachel.” oh the drama

Taylor “There’s the scarlet thread of murder running through the colorless scheme of life.” love the imagery

Taylor Possible pill overdose or suicide by ladder by Joseph Stangisen?

Taylor One pill was poisonous, the other completely harmless. “This crime is the most mysterious because it presents no new or special features from which deductions may be drawn. This murder would have been infinitely more difficult to unravel the body of the victim, being simply found lying in the roadway without any of these sensational accompaniments, which have rented it remarkable these strange details, far from making the case more difficult less so.”

Taylor Jefferson Hope identified as the murderer of both Enoch Drever and Joseph Stangison

Taylor halcyon - a period of time in the past that was idyllically happy and peaceful.

Taylor Three weeks after Jefferson Hope and his colleagues leave Salt Lake City, John Farrier concludes that he will never let his daughter Lucy wed a Mormon (Hope). “Such a marriage he regarded as no marriage at all, but as a shame and a disgrace. Whatever he might think of the Mormon doctrine upon that one point, he was inflexible. He had to seal his mouth on the subject. however, for to express an unorthodox opinion was a dangerous matter in those days in the Land of the Saints.”

Taylor Ram hunting?

Taylor John Ferrier dies August 4, 1860

Taylor AORTIC ANEURYSM????

Taylor Enoch Drever forced Lucy Ferrier to marry him

Taylor Jefferson’s aneurysm bursts, dying one day after his arrest. Enoch Drubber is murdered by him. Jeez why can’t we let women choose freely who they want to marry.

Taylor Drebber was poisoned. Karma imo. Motive: “I was inclined from the first to the letter opposition political assassins are only too glad to do their work to fly. This murder had on the contrary, been done most deliberately, and the perpetrator had left his tracks all over the room showing that he had been there all the time it must’ve been a private wrong and not political one which called for such a methodical revenge. When the inscription was discovered upon the wall, I was more inclined than ever to my opinion. The thing was to evidently be blind when the ring was found however it’s settled a question clearly, the murderer had used it to remind his victim of some dead or absent woman. I had already come to the conclusion since there were no signs of a struggle, that the blood which covered the floor had burst from the murderer’s nose in his excitement.”

Taylor The newspaper of the day reads “The crime was the result of an old standing and romantic feud in which love and Mormonism bora part. It seems that both the victims belonged in their younger days to the latter-day Saints, and Hope the deceased prisoner hails also from Salt Lake City. If the case had no other effect, it at least brings out in the most striking manner, the efficiency of our detective police force, and will serve as a lesson to all foreigners that they will do wisely to settle their views at home and not to carry them onto British soil. It is an open secret that the credit of this smart capture belongs entirely to the well known Scotland Yard officials..and Sherlock Holmes.”
