Am I emotionally prepared to slog my way through a 100 page Cassie Clare battle sequence? No not really but I fear that’s where we’re headed

War is over????? Maybe????? But I think a worse, new one (or several) is about to start

If I finish this book by the end of the year it will be a miracle, it’s draining the life force out of me. Still keeping up with this one on audiobook but my important library holds are all coming in at once so those are my priority rn

Emma and Julian try not to piss me off challenge absolutely failed…. Again.

Genuinely only 2 plotlines going on that I can bring myself to care about and it’s not the immigration metaphor or the main protagonists love story! That’s for sure !

Genuinely this is so disheartening to read in 2025 at times, bc basically nothing has changed
