I was right! When Mr. Clemens mentioned the looney bin, I thought, What if the doctor is Dr. Demeter? Haza confirms it, and I guess now we know what she was chosen for. Also, I should have realized before, OF COURSE the doctor on the farm in Dr. Demeter; Demeter is the Greek goddess of the harvest. It was a clue.

Oh. I think I just realized what they do in the pump house. Or rather, the true purpose of what they do in the pump house.

STOP TRYING TO FORCE HER TO BE HAPPY! It’s so messed up. Instead of wanting Thalia to be happy because he wants her to be happy, he wants her to be happy because it’ll make himself more happier and then he can stay there unconflicted. If he actually cared, he would listen when she says she doesn’t like it here and stop trying to guilt her into staying.

I KNEW Basil would be drawn into the cult. It’s because he didn’t get affection from his parents, so he seeks it out from wherever he can get it, even if that place is a crazy cult leader.

So many things! Ana is NOT AnonyGal, because she posted again after Ana’s death. Could she be Thalia’s dad? I feel like that makes sense. Also, I noticed a discrepancy. Basil said he was with his brother when he cut his leg, at age six or seven, but then he said his brother died when he was five. Most importantly, the farm is a cult. 1000%
