The price edition is read by a whiskey voiced feller who hardly sounds like young Uthred, unless maybe Uthred is recalling his youth while now an old beat down man. The women's voices are hilarious and the Russian accents of the Danes and monks takes getting used to. But this is a Cornwell story and the story carries the day. Good stuff regardless of the delivery.
