DONE WITH THE SERIES. OMG. WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING RIDE. I’ve decided that you need to treat this book like lore. The world building is incredible. Every facet of society is contemplated. The science in the science fiction is so solid. But the characters and the main story line are so weak. The main character in the last book is just a plot device that things happen to. She like has no agency. Still so amazing

Still not for me but enjoy listening to this with Alan. Trying to decide if I just don’t like sci fi or it’s this writing style. The world imagined is spectacular. And the world building is meticulous. Mad respect. But the book just isn’t engrossing. The characters are wack as hell.
