I'm eighteen chapters in, and I don't know whether Ted Dekker is a genius or simply a man whose mind is vast with some interesting things and concepts inside. Seth and Miriam, religion, love, women's rights, powers, treason, and everything in between. The sci-fi/fantasy aspect is somewhat unusual, but still intriguing nonetheless. Two people, differences in every way, but the story converges beautifully.
