First time reading Hill and I kept musing over how similar his writing style is to Stephen King. Halfway through the book I Google pics of him and I’m like, wow he really looks like a young Stephen King. Days later I browse his Goodreads reviews and clearly I’m slow at putting two and two together! 😂

😂 I discovered who his dad was about ten years ago now when I first read ‘Horns’. I’ve just started this one today, it’s enormous, I had to put it in my heavy duty backpack to bring it back from the library 🤣

Backpack most definitely required! I’m listening ti the audiobook to avoid the workout 💪🏽 of lugging that brick around. 😂 In my mind, King had one son (Owen) and one daughter. I’ve had various Joe Hill books on my TBR but never read anything other than a short story in an anthology. I’m impressed he used a pen name rather than taking advantage of the nepotism the King name brings. 👏🏽
