Reader meets conflict at 88% 🙄

Like there’s not even really any conflict and I’m 2/3 of the way through 🙄 and I feel like there’s not enough yearning … not enough tension

Guys, so far me and this book are kinda just coasting… this was up for the 2025 nominees and I’m really not seeing why. Like it’s just okay so far. I have five hours left though, fingers crossed.
