PS: Pet peeve of mine in books is when there is a very specific and real pop culture reference that is too modern. It takes me out of the story and world building for some reason. It dates a book rather than keeping it somewhat timeless.

I really don't understand why Sloane is so mad at Cole for not telling the full story about his revenge plot with Julian. She already was under pressure to finish the collection so why is the added revenge make her so angry? Ugh its giving weak plot guys :( Rushing to finish this one tbh.

Ok personally I wouldn’t categorize Cole as a classic dark romance stalker… yes he is monitoring Sloane but because he is enthralled maybe even obsessed with her creative process. I’m not even sure where the morally gray aspect comes in… maybe he’s about to flip the switch?

Ok so this book keeps popping up on my kindle as recommended. I was intrigued because we have a morally gray MMC but also one of the microtropes said "forced ice skating"? What the hell is forced iced skating lol I will report back hopefully I don't traumatize myself.
