one thing i realised while reading this book is that you have to be patient with vin & roz, because they will definitely frustrate you in the start. but the wait really pays off once you start getting all the pieces of their story, and everything clicks together so perfectly 😭🥺 i absolutely adore them now! i mean, it’s cara bastone so ofc the book is gonna be good!!!

Question. Idk if you’ve read Promise Me Sunshine (I REALLY did not like it and dnfed) but do you think I’d enjoy her other books?

Idk if you’ve read Promise Me Sunshine (I REALLY did not like it and dnfed) but do you think I’d enjoy her other books?"i say go for ready or not and also her audible original novellas. those are her light-hearted romcoms and if you enjoyed them then maybe give this one a try. this book is really hard to get into imo. the first 5 to 7 chapters are so frustrating due to lack of communication between the mcs and you don't know where the story is going but it gets better but also not. this book is heavy on pain and trauma and marital issues so if PMS didn't work then i don't know this one will bcs it's even more painful than PMS. but if you enjoy books like this then yeah go for it. but yeah don't give up on cara bastone yet.
