Am I halfway through yet?😭
The story is good and exciting and yet I’m not getting the same gripping vibe I had reading the first book. I think there’s just so many new characters with weird names that I’m just slowly losing interest.
Ruhn is creeping up the list of favorite characters. His side plot with Day👌🏼 I miss when Bryce was a reluctant brat and not actually trying to be a hero.

Bryce has a whole new confidence to her, but tbh, I don’t know if I like it. It’s giving “well, guess I have to save the world again” when realistically Bryce would be more like “why tf is it always me?” I kind of miss broken Bryce, but prob only bc I love a character who is so broken you don’t know how they can be fixed. Also still dunno how feel about Ithan whose whole personality is just sunball.
