This book is 765 pages (not 800) and with about 200 left, it still seems like a lot has to happen. Not just in the Gabriel's story, but the story in real time. I'm a little nervous now, as to how all this will end

Good for you! I’m contemplating on whether I should re-read book #2 before I get to this. I might just find some websites that has spoilers because they are door stoppers!

Yea, that's what I did right when I started book #2, finding summary videos, and it helped. Also, there's a great re-cap in the first few pages of this one.

And I didn't stand a chance trying to get myself into a different story while still thinking about the end of Empire/Damned
