i doubt it'll be a regular thing but ouch what a gorgeous sequence to show just how deeply yuki loves itsuomi, especially right after we heard itsuomi talking so sweetly about her to her father. THEYRE SO IN LOVE!! they push each other to be better, braver people!!!!!!

if we don't flash back to this moment later, i'm sure we'll hear it when he eventually tells yuki, which i would honestly prefer so. i'm trusting the process

okay i was a little turned off by this at first but now i'm just charmed as always by itsuomi and his confidence. i feel like this is really highlighting how different he is from other japanese people because of his upbringing in germany and constant traveling. his willingness to be open and casual with strangers without being outright rude is a tough balance to strike but somehow he manages it with his earnestness
