The plot just took a wild turn—the Haitian gang showing up to “pay their respects” while spitting on the man’s casket was intense and dramatic. And now Carter has a Junior? The stakes are getting higher, the drama is thickening, and the story is officially getting really juicy. This section definitely pulls you in and leaves you wanting more.

The beginning was a lot for me, but definitely worth it. I was like, “Why is Carter in court and how is he suddenly dead?” LOL. I’ve always wanted to get into crime-family books, and this feels like the perfect start—especially with it being a whole series. I’m excited to keep going!
