I LOOOOOOVED THIS.

i think this book may have rekindled my love for dystopian / action / thriller novels ?!!!? especially ones that don’t centre around romance lol …like, i forgot how engaging they are !!!! i’m feeling the same excitement reading this is as i did with the hunger games or divergent series way back when !! funnily enough, i never read the maze runners… but i will now😭

i wish i could read faster omg !!!!

this book is quite literally (so far) the modern equivalent of jurassic park… with dragons 😮‍💨😮‍💨 it’s not some magical fantasy shit - it’s like matthew reilly went “ahhh that [JP] was a fantastic plot… now how can i make it political and technically NOT dinosaurs” also the main character/specialist is a woman which makes it all that much more bad ass???
