Onyx Storm is like Mockingjay (text to text) because when Violet was in a meeting with the generals and Dukes, it reminded me of the part when Katniss had to come to the meetings with President Coin and other high ranked members. In Mockingjay, they were also preparing for a war against the Capitol, like in Onyx Storm. On pg 28 it says; "..to increase our numbers and hopefully provide insight into killing the venin."

The main character's names are Violet, Xaden, Ridoc, Rhi, Mira, and Brennan. So far, they are going to go to war against Venin and Wyvern, but the riders and flyers can't get along. It takes place in Navarre, and the story is being told in Violet's perspective, first person. Violet wants to go on an expedition to find more of her dragon's (Andarna) kind, but Leadership is considering not to support this (pages 27-30)
