not sure why i’m so obsessed with didion lately, as we’re nothing alike in either personality, ideals, or career. but i have been reading a lot of her work and it’s made me interested in her personal life. i’m not sure how i feel about a publishing house releasing this kind of sensitive information posthumously, but it does give really important insight on some of what she wrote in Blue Nights.
