I received this book in a Goodreads giveaway and am looking forward to getting into the Christmas spirit! My first impression was not favorably as I was put off by the way the MC talks about some children in her workplace. Harsh, judgmental and whiny are the words that come to mind. Fingers crossed it will improve as I keep reading.

And sometimes we are haunted by that one person we can’t forget. And in reality, we have been just a blip in their timeline. I often have to force myself not to look back, not that this may have anything to do with your story. That quote got me thinking.
