Oh yeah this one is an instant classic.
I think this ending goes to show that Kurt and I would agree that knowingly doing objectively BAD things to serve an objectively GOOD cause does not and will never absolve you from the bad things you’ve done.

Serve evil too openly and good too secretly and you will become what you pretend to be. Etc, etc.

What I would like to know is this: were Kurt’s thoughts about society considered progressive for the time? Or have we simply not made enough progress as I think we have in 60 years, despite newly-made words like based, woke, etc, etc.
