Am I the only who gets excited when recognizes a narrator from a book that i loved in the past. In this case it's Leighton Pugh, who narrated Germinal by Zola, and from where I started my current journey through French classics. Most of which I loved. Maupassant, Balzac, Flaubert, Pierre de Laclos and Proust. Not Stendhal, I'm afraid.

You aren't, Adina! With me it's the superb Juliet Stevenson narrating English classics and Henry James. And Robert Glenister, of course, everyone's favourite narrator.

I have quite a few favorite narrators and I like to guess what other books I listened to with the same narrator.
