Look I know this is the third book in the series but they are kinda standalone and this one had a boat in it so honestly I couldn’t help myself. I rarely ever read smut books but this was set in a supernatural 1920s and it had boats which are two of my weaknesses. So far honestly it’s not the worst the story is super basic and still has some fun moments my biggest complaint is that the boat is barely there );.

It’s nice that the story is about an interracial couple in the 1920s when it was illegal for them to be wed because it really gives them an actual problem that they have to navigate. I feel like many romance stories tend to have stupid and contrived problems but luckily this is not the case for this one. The fact that old lesbian couple living together gives them hope that they can somehow be together is so sweet.

This is why you gotta get on board with Ship of Magic, Robin Hobb would never do you like that
@Chaos_ensuring honestly it’s kinda cruel that they don’t have boat much in it like how can you dangle a boat in front of my face and barely deliver? Robin Hobbies I know will deliver like no other boat story I’ve read.
@Marith you know what Marith I hope you are right and two boats kiss cause that would make this a 5 star book.
