Imagine trying to survive in the dessert for who knows how long then when you finally get out of it you are immediately on a dating show.
Honestly what a great idea to have newly traumatized men date women I’m sure nothing could go wrong.

I love that the author gave the main character a reason to ask questions she already knows the answer to as an excuse so that readers can understand what’s happening.

I don’t know how I’m going to remember everyone’s names and who they are because there’s already 9 girls and now the boys are coming.

This witch book is giving me real edgy teen vibes 😂 it works well with the story.

Omg here the bell tolls for chapter XXXVII I don’t know if I can do it. I feel like I’ll end up crying and I already teared up quite a bit a few chapters ago.

Toilet and lovemaking have a very different meaning nowadays.

Seeing Anne grow up is making me a little sad like theres a little more of a solemn feeling than before. I really dread getting to the chapter called the reaper whose name is death even though I’m quite far from it still.

It’s interesting how words have evolved to mean different things over time, for instance the word ejaculated to mean blurt. It feels so wrong every time I read it….

Oh poor Gilbert Blythe how he so loves and respects Anne yet she pretends he doesn’t even exist. The many things he does to try and show that he cares for her and she just stomps on it with no care whatsoever. The fact this long lasting grudge started just because he called her carrot hair. I hope one day she can forgive him but then again it’s absolutely hilarious so I’m okay if it takes a couple of years.

In the back of the book there is a note on every single piece of memento and letter they created for this book. I am amazed by the amount of detail put into each memento and actually learnt a lot of history behind some of the items.
There were ‘flirtation’ cards that were bought and given to bend the rules of social interaction, so basically pick up lines but on cards 😂. There were some pretty cheeky ones.
