I love that the author gave the main character a reason to ask questions she already knows the answer to as an excuse so that readers can understand what’s happening.
I don’t know how I’m going to remember everyone’s names and who they are because there’s already 9 girls and now the boys are coming.

I'd be crawling out of the desert on all fours extremely feral, disheveled, and frothing at the mouth. But really that's the perfect time to go on a dating show.
