I was just pissed with how they treated fern at the hospital like honesty some of the worst bed side manners I’ve ever seen, she had no idea what the fuck was happening to her in her very delicate time of need.
To be honest it’s not so much Grady Hendrix but rather that this was how women were treated in the hospital back then and it deeply upsets me.
Omg right it was so devastating 😭 Like those are the real horrifying parts to me I felt so bad for her 😢
Yeah all the truthful stuff really got to me I felt so bad for those girls. I heard from my aunt that even married adult women were treated that way when giving birth.
