i'm gonna pretend war doesn't exist and that after i read pestilence, i'm now reading famine. THIS BOOK IS SM DIFFERENT, and looks already so good.

the main character seems more likeable than sara and miriam altogether. also... the gifts for the horseman? finally? i'm so sick and tired of seeing the people in the book hating him and wanting to kill him. it's great to see a change in the narrative.

that's why i liked pestilence the most. bc we met with people who were against him n with him, yk?
