Hehe, it's almost over, I think it will be 3 stars though, I won't dnf the series, but at the same time I wonder if there is a better series out there and in the new year I'll try to find a series that's more fun to read.

But it seems very soon they will leave the path.
Here is why I am not excited about that even though it's new.
They will leave to be trained by a professional team or whatever, we have almost seen that before.
And it also doesn't feel as exciting as two people choosing their own destiny and making mistakes.

Looks like I might finish this before the end of the year! and I don't think I am dropping the series like I did with Defiance of the fall, the slow pace here is mainly my mistake not the mistake of this series.

Back to reading and writing.
Had the displeasure of dealing with three absolute morons in a row.
But honestly these things are always a blessing in disguise, just save your time from dealing with idiots to do more useful things.
I wrote 600 words today, I wasn't really impressed or thrilled by what I wrote.
So I stopped for today.
Hopeful things pick up tomorrow and I gain more confidence.

These days I am feeling way too relaxed it's scary because I want to finish my book 2, but it's not like I am not writing I am keeping the same pace daily.
I just know I can do more or at the very least I could finish these chapters in 2 hours max, instead I take way too many breaks between each half hour of writing.
I think I'll spend the rest of the day reading this novel because I am too lazy today.

I still feel sleepy, and tired this heat is throwing my sleeping schedule into disarray.
I only edited one chapter today.
I'll try to write a new one when I wake up.
It's amazing how my mind can pick up these novels at anytime like I never stopped.

I don't understand why they didn't disobey the orders of the prince? What could he have done to them he had his hands full.
He made them the sacrfice so that all the other teams survive.
If they tried to match his time, everyone would be safer.
One thing I know for sure is this kingdom sucks big time. None of them isn't corrupt, it's just different levels of corruption.

I am so jealous! Camilla's tale was sooo good.
Better than anything I did in my novel damn it 😂
I should be sad for what happened to her, but I mean she got revenge and I am left with the feeling of jealousy instead of how good this was.
Definitely inspiring.

I think a good thing about this novel is even when the writer prolongs something it's usually not repetitive but just more of the same fights.
Compared to other writers in the genre that analyze the shit out of everything or talk over and over about the same emotion their MC is feeling not saying anything new, I'd say C. Mantis is preferable to them for me.

Back to this novel after Defiance prolonged enough to drive me away for the second time.
I haven't read novels since Batman 114 took me an entire day to finish 😂
It really put me in almost a slump
Matt and his team are fighting the catastrophe that they have unleashed on everyone.
Helping people fight the golems.
It will be interesting to see how this goes I feel it's a unique adventure.
