This is so beautifully written but it's written for shock and ridicule alone and its making me sick.

Our fmc is so, so condescending towards the native Arab and is dehumanising towards a people she thinks shes part of. Imagine being shocked that someone has well-rounded dimensions to them because they're "street" and "a real arab".

Bruh idek it has such high ratings and all these white people read it and were like omg 😍 so avant garde 👏 so brave 👏 so raw 🤩 this is the modern arab! And its just the author hating that she's Egyptian and hating that she's American in the grossest ways. I'm really hating it so far.
