Hi Brad. I'm getting the same thing. In fact on three of them I did a Google search on their profile picture and it came up as a different person, the picture was lifted off Instagram usually. Not sure what their goal is to add folks like us as friends but I've started rejecting all such requests. I now wish I would've reported the requests which I determined to be scams.

Haha these days really do feel a bit surreal when “young female friend requests” start appearing in batches anyone would wonder if the algorithm is just trying to add some drama to life I think half of them are bots and half are real people and among the real ones half are simply trying to expand their social circle the remaining half are the ones worth being cautious about the safest approach is probably not rushing to accept but checking whether they have genuine reading activity and a history over time if they don’t even have that then it’s most likely just traffic rather than a real person
