~ Men shouldn’t be allowed to wear backwards baseball caps. There’s no reason why a ball cap and a white t-shirt should be as sexy as—if not more sexy than—a well-cut suit on a man.

~ If Winston was a cereal, he’d be Raisin Bran. With room temperature milk and extra raisins. Raisins are the devil’s food—why take a perfectly good grape and turn it into a withered monstrosity?

~ That day, as I stood there, entirely stunned and wondering if she’d been raised in a barn by a pack of wild monkeys, I realized the chances of my marrying Courtney Turner were lower than a fur coat making it through a PETA rally unscathed.

Me: yikes!

~ The first time I laid eyes on Courtney Turner, my first thought was “I’m going to marry that girl someday.”

Me: awwww

~ My blood is a million degrees and you could probably fry an egg on my face.

But, at least I stood my ground so he didn’t have the satisfaction of seeing me crack like said egg. There will be tap-dancing penguins colonizing the North Pole before that happens. Mark my words.

Pre-read: The Strength of the Few was getting too intense last night (aka I would've kept reading until the wee hours of the morning but I needed to work today), so I picked this up for a change of pace and to finish out the series (and Katie Bailey's entire backlist, I believe).
