the end brings a lot of positive surprises, i found the climax uninteresting although a nightmare in action was a cool set piece to do. the apocolypse twist is very anime but i kind of like it. it all started with a little sign of hope (the dandelion between the steps) and blossoms into stranger and stranger worlds full of conflict

in a lot of ways this is le guins worst impulses taking Überhand
