The lack of object permanence but it’s me forgetting EVERY TIME that I hate a triple timeline book and being excited to start one but then wondering if it would be book blasphemy to just skip around and read all of the Maria parts to the end and then all the Alice parts and then all the Lottie parts bc I just want to stick with each person to the end of their story

I ended up reading the "correct way"- it wasn't as jump-around-y as The Bewitching so that was nice
My adhd brain can't handle skipping like that, I always go down the blasphemy route 🤣
