Frustrated by modern lingo and possible verisimilitude error.
1. Ref to middle school in early thirties. Not common (possibly nonexistent). Certainly not in the vernacular.
2. Casual mention of Laura Ingalls Wilder books given to young Margaret. Margaret was 14 when the first book came out and 17 or 18 for the second.
3. Term “stroller brigade” — incorrect for the time.
