knowing that Ryan Gosling will be playing the main character in the movie adaptation has made the writing style a lot more palatable bc by god is that guy just Ryan Gosling

Okay so. I am not nearly far enough into this book to decide wether or not this is a complete dealbreaker but the writing style is DIABOLICAL. The main character narrates like he is Greg from Diary of a Wimpy Kid if Greg was allowed to swear. I will say that I think Ryan Gosling is going to body this role though
