The Hildebrand Rarity - 3.5/5
Another good short story; I enjoyed Bond in the field on a non-so much spy mission. Krest's murder and the subsequent mystery of his killer was well written and I enjoyed the somewhat ambiguous conclusion.
Although I don't think the short stores hold much to the novels, they have been fun to read so far.

Risico - 3/5
I love the relationship between Bond and Colombo; this is something that the movie gets right too between Roger Moore and Topol. Only one big action piece but it read well.

For Your Eyes Only - 3.5/5
Finished FYEO- moving onto Risico next. This one was definitely the best of the three I've read in the collection so far. I enjoyed Bond's interactions with Judy and the overall revenge plot. I am not sure if I am in the minority saying that I think the film is actually pretty good, but it is cool to see where it drew from.

Changed gears and started “For Your Eyes Only,” then “Risico” next which are source material for the namesake film. “The Hildebrand Rarity” I’ll save for last since it references the Krest guy from Licence to Kill.
Read up to the first passage of this one; interesting world building with the Havelocks. I don’t recall much detail given to them in the film. Interested to see where the stories deviate.

Quantum of Solace: 1/5
I jumped to #3 because I want to save "For Your Eyes Only" and "Risico" for last, as they are the two stories that went into the namesake film.
Although the cause and effect of people's actions and decisions show well, this was really just Bond sitting and listening to a story; there is no adventure or anything of substance, for that matter. Should have listened to this as an audiobook.
