Reread time (again). Because goddamn, this *criminally underrated* trilogy is dear to my heart, and suddenly I need it (again). As an adopted kid it brings to life a deep-seated dream I’ve always held since I was wee. If it can’t be my story, I can only live another’s with them.

First reread / second read just 7 months after the first read. Part of my The Great Nora Series Reread of 2023, yes… and it was just that good.
In all seriousness though, this trilogy had an impact on me at what has been a profound period of my life - almost literally awakening, choosing, becoming - so I’m happy to be picking it up again.
