This is going down delightfully easily, both in its dialogue and how it is presenting the mystery that is Harriet's haunting by Nolan. I probably would be ripping into this if not for the fact I've committed this book as my "read when pipsqueak is around so I don't keep reaching for my phone in front of him".

Someone once pointed out to me that the vast majority of sex scenes in single-entry romance-centred books tend to unfold in a very similar sequence, and ever since, I have not been able to unsee it.

Highly readable still although the mystery surrounding our two primary characters continues to elude even at the halfway point. Not just what binds them but also what in their past ails them.
The chemistry and their sexual tension is undeniable and well executed.

Only 5 pages in and I'm feeling Harriet's personality deeply as if a mirror is being held up to my face.
I told myself less screen time in front of the pipsqueak. So making this my first physical book that I pick up to read around him when he's awake.
