In last few weeks my reviews on middle school books got more comments from new users who are tweens. I realized today that they are also Australian. These kids are using Kindles to access Goodreads as a way to skirt the social media ban for users under 16 there.
They do a lot of brainrot and can get mad easily since they can only see the first line of any comment or reply, and only the first 30 comments on a review.

While I do feel sorry for your situation, can I just point out that you made fun of me for loving The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek and I am a grown woman.

It was not my intent to mock you, and I feel it would be difficult to make that leap.

Wow... "Leap" is right. There's nothing in your comment that's in any way mocking. I blocked her long ago when I saw similar nuttiness in her comments on other reviews. Sorry you're attracting all these strange people, Rod.

I went into my friendship with Nora with eyes wide open. I was aware of how she interacted with others, but I have an open door policy and also must admit to an idle curiosity as to how long I'd last before offending. Longer than I would have thought.
Oh, look, she unfriended and blocked me. I guess we won't be working toward a reconciliation of this misunderstanding.
You know, if it's kids, that would explain some comments I've got recently (that I deleted) that made me wonder about the mental age of the commenters...

Nora is nuttier than a fruit cake.. No way I would have entertained her for a second! Glad you no longer have to contend with her.. They always leave and block you when you display their crazy on blast for others to see, in a way that they cannot refute it. :D
