There's many mental images when reading this book, mostly when describing the witches. For example, on page 3, "..with powder-blue eyes, the pupils like pinpricks, smudged all around in dark purple circles. She smiles a hungry mouth of teeth. From her neck dangle pocket watches, too many to count." I felt very scared for Rosie, the main character. I can imagine this is one of the worst witches just by reading this.
