I could hear them talking and I felt like I was there, siting at the table with them on the patio of the ice cream place.

TEXT TO SELF: A scene in this book where Linden has to lie to his friends to pretend he is rich like them when he isn't reminds me of when I make up a lie to seem cool but then it trails into another lie and then it turns into a lot more lies and then eventually my whole life is a lie and I can't keep up with it.
