This book is super good so far. June describes the situation with reminders of what the rooms formerly were. How the Handmaids dress in all read, wear wings to hide their face. Anything that could be tied to, like a chandelier, gone. Rita, the Martha wears a faint green, mirrors are basically gone.

In the few pages I ready tonight, “June” described her relationship with the Martha, Rita. How they would sit and chat about aches and body pains. But I sensed there was an understanding between them about the situation. She also described arriving the commanders house, how the wife was short with her, and she realized that she had seen the wife before, on the TV before everything happened.
